Cumuruxatiba


Cumuruxatiba is a district of Prado, located approximately 25 km north of the town of Prado.
Once a small fishing village, Cumuruxatiba saw a steady growth in recent years.
Today the village has over 4000 inhabitants and has a good tourist infrastructure with hotels, restaurants and beach bars.
The beaches are among the most beautiful of the Whale Coast, shallow and calm waters, excellent for swimming.
Many beaches have beatiful cliffs, some with impressive height, offering unforgettable views.
Access to Cumuruxatiba is via a dirt road starting from the BA-489 10km out of Prado.
Another option is from the town of Prado by a dirt road that follows the coastline.

At the mouth of the river Caí, forming a beautiful natural pool. Coconut trees, cliffs, fine sand and calm dominate the beach. With a well equipped beach bar.


Deserted with calm seas and some cliffs. Access via a dirt road or the neighboring beaches.


Deserted, a calm sea and some cliffs. At the beach, the mouth of the river Imbassuaba forms a natural pool which gives a good opportunity to freshwater bathing.
